At the end of 2023, the new photovoltaic system was put into operation: an impressive structure, able to cover 40% of Tresoldi Metalli’s energy needs, bringing us closer to ever greater energy autonomy.
It was a necessary step: to make the company more efficient and above all as a commitment towards a greener future that respects the planet.
The new photovoltaic system, which saw the installation of 880 panels for a total surface area of 2,200 m, will produce 555,000 kWh per year, part of which will be fed back into the grid, while the share of energy intended for self-consumption will be 407,000 kWh per year.
The system is part of a broader project aimed at the energy upgrade of the entire Tresoldi Metalli: an operation that began in previous years when, after the appropriate studies and surveys carried out through the energy managers who work alongside us, we changed all the company’s internal and external lighting to the use of LED lights.
This second important step of the photovoltaic system is a further stage of a process that in the coming years will be central for the company, its efficiency and its competitiveness in an international market increasingly attentive to ethics and sustainability.
