Zincomax is particularly suited to technical construction because it makes it possible to talk about performance, anti-corrosion protection and workability without tying the material to a single application.
It can be considered for components, supports, frames and substructures, especially in exposed or difficult contexts.
Its composition with zinc, aluminium and magnesium and its ability to maintain protection even in worked areas make it an interesting solution when the project requires a higher-performing material than standard solutions.
Materials to consider
AISI 316 or AISI 316L stainless steel can be considered when corrosion resistance is an important requirement, especially in more exposed contexts.
5754 aluminium is an interesting solution when lightness, workability and good mechanical characteristics are needed, to be assessed according to the final application.
Aluzinc can be considered for applications where the aluminium-zinc-silicon coating is a solution consistent with the technical requirement.
Uginox® and Ugitop® are suitable when, in addition to performance, surface finish, aesthetic behaviour and specific material characteristics also matter.
Galvanised steel and pre-painted steel remain useful alternatives for less demanding technical applications or where the main criterion is the availability of the material in suitable formats and thicknesses.
