Durability and life cycle

The materials offered by Tresoldi Metalli are also assessed according to their durability over time and their ability to maintain performance consistent with the final application. A more durable material can help reduce maintenance work, premature replacements and the consumption of new resources throughout the product’s life cycle. This is why the choice concerns not only format, thickness or finish, but also strength, behaviour over time and compatibility with the context of use.

 

The quality of the supply, material preparation and support in the selection process help customers in the industrial and construction sectors identify more efficient, reliable and responsible solutions.

Recyclability of metals

Steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass retain significant value even at the end of their service life: they can be reintroduced into new production processes and contribute to a more circular economy.

 

In its 2025 Sustainability Report, Tresoldi Metalli highlights its focus on the origin of metal raw materials and the recovery of waste generated by internal activities.
According to the reported data, 28.8% of raw materials come from recycling and 99.7% of the scrap produced is sent for recovery. The goal is to reduce the use of virgin resources, make the most of recoverable materials and maintain responsible control over waste flows, connecting purchasing, warehousing, processing and waste management.

Efficient processes

Sustainability also comes from process efficiency: consuming better, reducing waste, protecting the material and organising supplies more precisely. Tresoldi Metalli invests in technology, quality control, packaging, logistics management and flow optimisation to improve continuity, operational safety and the responsible use of resources.

 

Added to this is the energy-efficiency drive launched in recent years, which includes replacing the company lighting with LED lights and installing a photovoltaic system. The system, which came into operation between the end of 2023 and the first half of 2024, represents a concrete step towards greater energy autonomy and a reduction in demand from external sources.
