This composition significantly increases the mechanical characteristics of aluminium, guaranteeing a minimum strength of 40-50 MPa without compromising the workability of the material, making it ideal for various construction applications.
5000 series alloys: optimal performance for industrial and architectural applications
The 5000 series alloys, used for Cortal and Bronze, see an increase in their mechanical properties with the addition of magnesium (up to 5%). The integration of other elements such as chromium, titanium and manganese further improves their performance, guaranteeing high corrosion resistance and excellent weldability, making them perfect for industrial processing and for architectural applications that require high performance.
